Inner City Christmas Displays & visits from Santa

Businesses put a lot of effort into creating attractive Christmas displays which enhance the inner city's festive atmosphere and are well worth viewing. The 2009 theme was Twinkle Twinkle Little Star a small selection of some of the windows are below.  The 2010 theme is Celebrating Napier.

Families also have the opportunity for a special visit to Santa around the Christmas period. Children can visit Santa in his grotto for photographs or catch him in the street as he visits businesses and delivers good cheer and Christmas wishes to all.
